JUUL connected to serious lung damage & deaths

State of Washington seeing new cases, deaths

News of acute toxic lung injuries associated with vaping using JUUL products has become more and more alarming.

Hundreds of hospitalizations and more than a dozen deaths are associated with JUUL e-cigarettes, used to inhale THC oil or nicotine – or both. The CDC and other public health agencies are scrambling to determine the precise cause of these harms and to prevent further injury and death.

While a focus is on the inhalation of THC or nicotine products, it could be additives or other substances such as nicotine “salts” used in JUUL products to make the nicotine effect stronger – posing a particular risk for younger, still developing brains.

Injury attorney Corrie Yackulic, Seattle, notes that “product labeling will be important in injury or wrongful death lawsuits, as consumers may be unaware of the serious risks of these products.” E-cigarette use dramatically increased after the roll-out of the trendy JUUL e-vaporizer which resembles a USB port, and was immediately embraced by teens and young adults.

CJY Law urges that teens and adults alike avoid these products, but also to know early symptoms and seek prompt medical attention if in doubt.  Symptoms include: coughing, shortness of breath or chest pain, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, fatigue or abdominal pain.

If you have been injured from using JUUL e-cigarettes and products, you may have a legal case. Beware of online trollers who are paid for signing up those who have been harmed by JUUL e-cigarettes and products. They then sell this information to national law firms or entities. Instead, turn to an SEATTLE, WASHINGTON law firm that is highly-regarded in prosecuting product liability injury and wrongful death cases:  Corrie Yackulic Law Firm, PLLC.

CJY Law will review your comments in the Contact Us box below, and will contact you regarding your information. If it appears you may indeed have a case, you will be contacted to set up a time convenient to talk with Corrie. This consultation is free.
